Interested in joining the SpringHouse Family?
We are so happy you have found your way to us! Let us share a little bit of our story. In 1975, the Sam and Bev Minor family, complete with five children twelve and under, started milking cows, processing and bottling the HORMONE FREE milk, and running the country store that is the original part of today’s SpringHouse Country Store, Creamery and Eatery. Today, three generations of the Minor family continue to milk our herd of Holsteins and Jerseys on the farm. We grow corn, hay and pumpkins ~ and lots of Minor grandchildren ~ on 420 acres of land in North Strabane Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
The SpringHouse Today
Today, The SpringHouse employs roughly 100 people between our farm, restaurant/market, and our catering department. Each year we host a multitude of events, which allows us to keep each month here interesting! We start out the year with our Anniversary Celebration, then spend the Springtime giving farm tours to school groups. In the heat of the Summer months we dish out ice cream, provide food for graduation parties, spend our weekdays at farmers markets in the area, and top it off with one crazy fun week at the Washington County Fair! We like to spend Fall in the pumpkin patch or on a hayride when we aren't at one of the many local festivals in the area! Finally, we end our year celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ through several Christmas events.
We love HARD WORKING people who are interested in digging in right away! Due to our vast array of available positions, we have something for everyone!
